 Sky was darkened, whole image sharpened, played with tonal contrast and saturation.

I hope you are within the extent of a.e.rules though. Burning is legal as long as it does not create a new feature. If the original shows a bright sky outside your darkening may dangerously approach the borderline.

Beautifully done. Great lighting and comp and it tells a story (or it at least implies a story that each viewer can interpet to themselves) Really nice work. One of my top 3 for the challenge.

I call intentional pathos! I rebel when I am emotionally manipulated. A great scene, but a few of the technicals make this less successful than it could have been. Harsh shadow, underexposure (you could have retained the dark atmosphere while adjusting highlights), some haloing. 6

I love the setting and the concept, however the lighting is way too harsh and hard. Detracts from the image.
