I didn't get out much this month with the camera, together with school and moving there just wasn't any spare time. This was taken at a motocross race I shot earlier in the month. The father of the kid in front (not crashing) loved that pic and bought it on site. The kid that crashed suffered only a broken wrist from what I heard.

I almost didn't catch this - I was just about to turn around and head out onto the track after shooting the starting line and saw this from the corner of my eye. I quickly focused and took the shot. Hopefully everyone enjoys it :-)

Taken at 260mm with the Canon 100-400mm L handheld.

Post Processing: Crop, Curves, Sharpen, Resize

The title fits well. A good action shot. I think from a different angle adding separation between the driver of #461 and the wreck would be more desirable, but considering that these things can't be planned for, this is a great capture.

Sand, power, action thrills. This picture has it all.

Impressive action. It's unfortunate that all the action and interest in this shot is dead center instead of being spread out a bit more.
