| nice rose image. I think a tighter crop would have resulted in a much sronger image. The foliage competes with the bloom and you have these great water drops that merit more detail. |

| Lone survivor? Everything else around this flower looks to be living... I have no reason to believe that something happened for this to be the only one left... It's pretty but not extraordinary |

| I don't see why this is extraoardinary. Maybe more context would help. The title gives a hint, but the picture doesn't really show it. Without the title, all we see is a flower pic with nothing extraordinary about it. The background is a little distracting. Smaller DOF would help. But a flower is really not a good choice for this challenge, no matter how well-done it is. |
