 Found at work in one of the dogpens, have never seen a snail this colour before. We checked with our local Dept of Conservation and apparently the little fellow is an invasive snail...not a native. Manual mode, flash used.

Oh, it's unfortunate he is more of a pest in your area than a help. He is sooo blue. He looks great and slimy too...you can almost feel the sticky...ewww. hehe. I love the crop as well.

Very odd indeed - and I can honestly say that I never knew this existed. That, is the simplest value of photography!

The shot's a little gloomy and flash-hot, but it does meet the challenge well.

Nice shot. If that id a flash hot spot on the shell i would have tried to eliminate that buti still love the pic. 7

That is an extraordinary snail, I've never seen one that is blue before. However I think the image quality could be better. It doesn't seem to be infocus. I'd like to see more of the bottom and less of the top.

I'd preferred the snail completely on focus, also the flash light on it distracts.
