3 more days of voting to go and I am finding it hard to believe that my score is hovering in the 7.3 range. I keep on thinking it can't last and every time I check in I expect to see that my score has dropped below 7.0
I am genuinely surprised at how well my entry is doing and had never expected it to do as well as it currently is.

The building in the image is the ROC building in Nijmegen.
ROC Nijmegen is a Regional Teaching Centre. It offers students, both young and mature, courses in secondary vocational education and in adult education. In addition it provides contract teaching for companies and institutions. Approximately 12,000 students are enrolled at ROC Nijmegen. The centre has over 1,100 staff. The Netherlands has scores of ROCs. Some 40% of the inhabitants of the Netherlands are following or have followed a course at a ROC.

You should find out when they clean those windows. It would be interesting to see some cleaners, added to this great shot!
Congrats again!

Having done the Nijmegen Marches (100 miles in 4 days) I know Nijmegen well.

Great image, it doesn't look anything like architecture in the thumbnail.

This is wonderful. It's one of the few images in this challenge (that did well) that are as much about the art as the object. I was very happy to see it take the blue, and I congratulate you; well seen!

Just an amazing shot and well processed and seen. It seems to play mind games when you look at it. Flat and then it has scenes that just jumps up at you. Dont know if this makes sense. (well if it doesnt I blame my insanity on DPc)Deserving Blue no doubt

Thanks for all the comments and votes. I am really stoked that I have at last managed to get a ribbon and the coveted Blue at that. When this challenge started I didn't in my wildest dreams think that would happen.

Very nice - includes just enough to be very interesting. Probably the best use of a border I've seen on DPC.

I think this is a great choice to go for an abstract of the building rather than the whole thing

This is my pick for the blue. So striking, and works so well in black and white. Great tonal range. Bumping.

Love the bizarre-ness of the windows and the contrast. The best part is that you get little glimpses into the building with certain windows. Wonderful!

Quite brilliant. If it weren't for the chair and the lamp shade I would have imagined this to be a clever 2D artwork. Good luck 10
