Doesn't look like it's flown in a while. Nice detail. Looks similar to some of my own aircraft shots. Is this on a T-6?

The subject and framing is good, but the lighting is dull and uninteresting. If you could shoot this with dramatic side lighting, and perhaps convert it to black and white, I think you'd get a good abstract effect.

Decent comp, although the subject is a bit ho-humish for me. Might need a small shot of contrast (honestly, I need to double-check my monitor as your photo's the second in a row that seems a little flat). Good luck.

I think a deeper dof would have been better, the gearbox housing is oof and really splits the photo in two. I find my eyes darting from the pistons to the gears

They don't make aircraft engines like that any more - thank goodness ;-). I wonder if B&W with more contrast and a border may have added to your shot. I do like the composition.
