Photograph taken in my recent short trip to North East India. This image was taken at Pelling. I noticed everywhere in this area the protecting nature of elder child to siblings & really impressed by the warm & friendly nature of the people.

I don't care the voter's consider it as fine at or not but I was more interested sharing my most favorite image in that trip along with you :)

Remember -- if it's a child, and he or she is smiling, and he or she is looking at the camera... Then it can't possibly art.

My experience anyway.

4 - Quite nice, but not a unique enough capture for me to lean on the 'art' side (personal preference) - the image seems a bit 'bottom heavy'.

I like this though the contrast feels a bit "puffy" -- Topaz? Wonderful composition and candid moment. Artistic too (!).

Excellent capture. I love his happy expression and protective posture, and her tentative, less trusting, yet very direct gaze.

Excellent portrait, really well done but in my minds eye it doesn't seem to convey fine art. Good luck.

beautiful portrait but not what I would consider fine art

Delightful portrait. Lovey tones and detail and nice sepia conversion.

*sigh* I don't know how to score this, it isn't saying fine arts but it is shouting nay screaming fine photograph

I love the picture--don't know for sure if it is technically 'fine art', whatever the heck that is... Giving it a 5 in the context of the challenge but faving it.

Gorgeous child portrait and the high contrast duotone is fantastic.

Very nice. I think the crop is a little tight. Just my opinion. 8
