This was actually a one try shoot with a total of 3 (in air) shots, so in this case it wan't trial and error :D

Yeah, based on the description - if there's a shadow anywhere in the photo, it meets the criteria. Never said that the subject had to be a shadow. Nonetheless, I thought this picture had plenty of darkness to qualify for shadows, and the silhouette only accentuated the shadows. It was a 10 in my book.

I thought this a fabulous photo, and I'm with Bear on the shadow thing.

"Use light to capture one or more shadows..." reads the description. Nothing about the subject being the shadow that I can see. Even IF you don't think a silhouette is a shadow, there's plenty of shadows all over here. Totally meets the challenge and a hell of a good shot as well. Congrats on top-10!

Darn! To me, a sillhouette is not a shadow. A shadow has to fall on something.

But this is awesome... DNMC... yet still... a 6.

10 if it met the challenge.

I hate it... but there it is. *heavy sigh*

This is a great show but it is a silhouette not a shadow.

I really wanna vote this high..
but its a silhouette...
so I just won't vote on it at all.

Beautiful. But this is a silhouette, not a shadow :-)
