There are certainly parallel lines. However, it does not appear to be a difficult shot at all, so one could expect a higher quality photo with a more interesting composition. I'll give it the score it is titled after. 4

I think a different angle would make me appreciate this more. Maybe just focus on the lines of the pool and lane dividers and get rid of the side of the pool and background.

I love the color and texture. I wonder if cropping out the sides of the pool would have been more effective?

Where's the swimmers? Where's the action? The shot is pretty good for parallel lines, but it's lacking the excitement that could make it a great shot! You could probably try to reframe it to lose the building and the pool deck on the left to make it stronger as a static image.

I think a tighter crop without the rest of the pool might have been more powerful.

imho this would have been more effective if you had shot from the center of the pool

Without knowing more of the pool layout, I would have scored this higher had you taken the shot from the center lane or perhaps cropped it in a way so that we see only the water and lines. The left side of the pool edge and what is beyond the pool at the end is distracting from an otherwise nice picture.
