Like the perspective. Looks tonemapped, in a way that I think complements the subject. Reminds me of an architect's drawing of a proposed structure. |

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: There is something about this image which has given me pause to take a longer look; the subtle coloration and vignette - the slightly tone-mapped appearance, the low POV. This is masterful work. I think you have offered a piece of work whereby you have both authentically captured the scene whilst stamping your own artistic license upon in. It communicates an old feel - partly as a consequence of the parchment like sky.
Critical stuff: Nothing at all.
Overall: A magnificent image - a potentially cliched tourist shot transformed into so much more in your hands. |

I really like your processing. The effect on the sky gives the whole image a tapestry feel. |
