 You know sometimes when you have some money you buy something on impulse that maybe you wish you hadn't bought? These would be one of those purchases. They actually feel great on my feet but they just got too difficult to explain to every other person that I passed by. So I wore for a while and have kept them because they were SO expensive I couldn't justify tossing them out. The store is long gone. Not sure if the company even exists any more. I call them the Tucker of shoes. Great concept but they don't look so good. The tried to make some covers for the springs and it didn't quite work. Oh well.

I set a piece of white poster board in my shooting area, got down on my back and put my feet in front of the board. The camera was on the tripod and I used the cable remote release.


Post:
Camera raw adjustments in PSElements 6.0.
Rotate 180°.
4 crops.
Layer adjustments for levels, brightness/contrast and hue/saturation.
Adjust sharpness.
Selected background and did two layers of levels resetting the white point each time.
Selected inverse, colors curves adjustment.
Resize.
USM.

Hoping for better than a 5.2281 in Shoes I.

nice colours, i was wondering though, what the yellowy object in the bottom left corner was? it certainly doesnt take away from the picture though. very nice shot!

People may punish you for that yellow thing at the bottom. I really like this shot and its composition. Maybe more saturation on those colors would be nice! Good luck!

Good capture and a nice idea. A little bit of flare from the background has washed out the black of the shoes which make them lose some 'punch'.
