I agree with danculwell. Some supplemental light would really help this. Great poses (including the grumpy kiddo dead center), but generally a bit underexposed for the people. An umbrella above camera right would help things to (obviously not feasible with an EasyShare :) ).
Nice looking family. Nice colors and contrast but pretty dark overall. A reflector or light to brighten their faces (especially under the hats) would make this a great shot.
