Wow! - Thanks for all the votes and positive comments. My first challenge and I am thrilled. The boots belong to my husband who wore them in Iraq. One dogtag is worn traditionally around the neck and the other laced into the boot by most troops in a war zone; the boots are just as they were when he came home. He is home safe. I will pass along your kind words.

Air Force boots that have been downrange, yes? I wore Army boots so my AF boots didn't turn beige. :-) Nice job with this.

I like how you tucked your tags into your laces.I love this shot. The shoe in the back reminds me of a wounded Vet. Nice job.
