I love the subject, but I wonder if it would be even more extraordinary if you captured the butterfly landing on something extraordinary - like a beautiful flower or a dog's nose. I know it's hard to shoot these guys in the wild though. 8

I love this photo. It is reminescent of Salvadore Dali's surrealistic paintings and sculpture. I could only suggest a timy bit more contrast. From my view point, one of the top 3 photos this time around. And the only bug-shot worth a darn! Good luck. (9)

Good focus. To bad the shot could not have been more from the front to get a little better use of the light and angle on the insect. But that would have just scared it away.
