A nude in a Free Study - asking for trouble I imagine, but hopefully it won't be offensive to anyone.
Shot with natural light only.
I have been wanting to work with Holly for a while, so I was really pleased when the opportunity presented itself.
I used the wide angle 16-35 lens pretty extensively during the shoot - it might seem a little counter-intuitive for portrait work, but I found it worked really well.

Post challenge:
I'm well pleased with 5th place in a FS, especially given the nude subject. Thanks very much!

Absolutely WONDERFUL Paul. Congrats on the HM. There were obviously a few folks who aren't into nudes judging by the 1's and 2's, so this actually is worthy of being even higher. So well done
Awesome! I've worked with Holly a couple of times but never actually shooting myself. She's a great model and you've done a fantasic job with this shot. Perfect lighting and pose as well as great exposure control on her pale skin. Awesome photo!
Beautifully done. I love just how pure and true this image is. I believe you did a wonderful job at a nude, and captured the essence of the feminine body in a very classy way.
well done you definitely captured the classical nude painting feel. I don't think that the black and silver pillow should be there as it looks out of place.
i have to say that i typically do not care for the nudes on dpc. i even entered one myself a time ago and i really liked mine. i really, really like this one. it IS classic. the pose, lighting and mood. lovely, lovely shot.
