What a cool shot, Susan! Love the dog of course and I love the fence with it's peeling paint. |

GREETINGS FROM THE CRITIQUE CLUB
LOL - did you appreciate all 27 of those splendid comments as this sweet image was being voted on? And then, later, two more and a favorite!
Well, I hope you had your scores turned off (yeah, sure) because the 5.6653 just doesn't match up. What happened? Having lost my crystal ball some time ago, I don't know.
There is little to 'critique' in this fine image. Before I got to the main subject, as this appeared on my screen I was appreciating the fine detail on the weathered fence, then spotted that amazing expression on the amazing dog, and went Wow! The greenery just finished off the story in an appropriate way.
It was a terrific find and a very good handling of the story-telling process along with the careful post processing details.
Nicely done.

This one grabbed me too. I can't see why it didn't get some 9's and a few 10's. More saturation in the green plants would probably have helped DPC wise, but not actually helped the shot for it's honesty, which is the best thing about it to me. |

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time comes to mind - Isabella had better be careful. |

Nice situation. I feel that the dog is not isolated enough from the surroundings (perhaps a shallower DOF could have made it?). |

what a funny shot, your lighting is good (not in the full blaring sun!!) and your detail are well defined...good job |

Very charming shot! Looks like the lighting was rather difficult as well, with patchy lighting coming through vegetation.. |

Fun! A little more pop/contrast in the fence and foliage would have helped this I think. |

nice shot. I think that it could have been made stronger by some judicial dodge n burning . burn down the bright greens in the foreground and dodge Isabella a bit. IMO. |

Oh I love this. Borzoi??? I might have cropped out most of the lower and upper areas and made it in landscape mode, so we can zoom in on her face. |
