karmat? Really good tight framing. Piercing eyes, great texture in the skin. Love it.

Yup pretty intimidating , the use of shallow DOF is interesting , but I prefer the eyes to be crisper. 6

Very nice composition. I think it would look better if the focus was on the eyes. Sharp focus on the eyes seems to fix a lot of things.

Nice freckles, I'm the same way. The focus looks like it's on the cage, but I could be wrong because the eyes still look good

Nice tight crop and looks like a serious sports kid that is ready for war....He is ready for when the proverbial hits the fan...or from the looks of it it might have already happened. 7

Ima gonna run you over, grab that ball from your hands and take my team into the playoffs.

This is what I perceive this young football player is saying - the determined pursing of his lips and the stare down issuing from his eyes. Details are in razor sharp focus with this portrait. The B&W tones are excellent. The only critique I have is that I wish that I could have seen the reflected expression of his opponent in his eyes. The staredown and the response of that staredown visible in the eyes of this football player.

Ya know I've checked this one out several times now. Every time I look at it I bump it up. And that means something really speaks to me here. The heck with it. 10! Now I won't have to come back and bump up again. Congrats.

one of the few times when a B&W doesnt have the same impact as color
i hope you have a color version i would like to see that

Great closeup and use of B&W. The eyes are a bit soft compared to the face guard. 8

I like that you filled the frame. He has a good expression. I'd like it a bit sharper on the eyes.
