Cropped, smart-sharpened and lightened the background with levels and b&w adjustments.
This was made from: my mouse pad, a wrist support, two small vases, a large candle holder, a rubber band, some black sticks, two water-bottle caps, two small, round bandaids and last but not least two cranberries.

Mr McGrump made me LOL enough to frighten my cats, so that's an automatic 8 :-) Love the attention to detail and thanks for telling us what you used to create him. Great cartoony expression, lighting is wonderful, comp not outstanding but the expression gets the point across loud and clear.
Wondering why such a high ISO for a studio shot...but if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I have a Sigma 10-20mm too and love that lens. Can see why you did so well, congrats and more importantly, keep shooting!
