The original of this was very green. To isolate the vine I held a yellow plastic mat behind these leaves, and it turned out very bright green and with a texture that looked noisy. I got rid of the noise with Neat Image, and converted it to sepia in Picasa.

Clever idea with using the mat. I love how you used the border to fill in some of the space. It really looks like it belongs in the original scene.

I can always tell if I like a shot if I find myself looking at it for a long time. This is a very interesting shot with a lot of aspects to it.
