Thassit. What a goof.

(Next time, Shroedinger's Cat).

One hour to go. Six beautiful comments/guesses, one fav, nothing wanting. Thank you Buddy (nom de chien, but not really, only what I think he should be called, and what I almost titled this photo), and thank you Buddy's mistress who came with her sack of treats to share with 5 other dogs at the small eatery belonging to the parking lot on which Buddy waits so weightily.
I might also have titled this Dasein/Being There, but what would be the fun? Actually, I don't remember reading Heidegger; I do remember being put off by the Heideggerians at my school, smoking their pipes and forming a sort of gnostic clique and subverting all the good discussion in a philosophy of history seminar. ... All told, Buddy and I have given Heidegger himself the benefit of the doubt, and made good delivery of our "authenticities." Tres heureuse.

I've been studying Heidegger lately. Mostly so I can write poems:

Oh! This was you! I thought it might have been Don or Zeus, but then I found Zeus' elsewhere. And wasn't sure it was quite Don's... I should have known it was you. Wonderful piece, this!

Phenomenal photgraph. The dog is so there but when is one not? Gus says he'd make a great statue.

I don't think this is right, but the first person I thought of when I saw this was tnun. Love the variation in tones on the dog.

Maybe it was Heiddegger who didn't exist. Excellent choice to include the surrounding universe to place this statue in perspective.
This is in the style of tnun, a way of seeing I admire.
