| I like the composition and the subject a lot. I also like the muted tones. The sky is a little bright. Having more tractor and less sky might have helped. |

This isn't a headline or a journalistic photo. For one thing, agriculture is not, in fact, abandoned. Journalism, ideally, deals with facts. Opinions are valid in an op-ed piece but that would reallyl be stretching it. At any rate, I don't think you would find many journalist making the claim that agriculture has been abandoned. There is no human element in this photo so I can't even ignore the headline and evaluate the photo as a journalistic photo. It is a very nice still-life but it fails to meet the challenge.
Photographically, I like the angle. The cropping is a bit severe. I would have chosen to show the whole tractor. A little dodging to bring out some lights in the foreground would help to balance out the extreme lights and darks. |

| Good idea. Nice angle on the tractor. There's a cloud to the right of the rear wheel I would have editied out, I think, but I can't remeber what the rule were for this, so maybe you couldn't. |

| Nice photo. Beautiful duotone(?) colors. Not the best headline in the world, but it gets the job done. |
