this was my brother michael today .. we were talking about stuff & taking a break from spraying the blackberries ..
i was using the sigma 18-200 because a friend was thinking of buying a camera and i had recommended the 18-200 for his purposes instead of a kit lens .. he takes lots of pics of trains and his dog etc just for his own use ..
i hadnt used the lens for a long while and couldnt remember how fast it focused .. was going to try it out on katee running just to see so i could pass on the info ..
i did a b&w adjustment layer with selective colour and brightness and contrast adjustment layers underneath ..
at first i didnt like the shadow on him, but the more i look at it the more i like it. looks like a shot from the US in the depression era. like something Dorothea Lange would have taken
