 A 7 month old lamb. Part of a flock of 20 sheep in the Big Thompson Canyon. The BH sheep are my favorite mammals and I love to photograph them. They are rare, with only 250 in my area of Colorado. (compared to 5000 elk, 3000 mule deer and 3000 mountain lions in the same vicinity. So, as far as I'm concerned, this is my "signature" subject, style and PP.

While the color, sharpness and DOF are nice it seems to be "missing" something. The angle of the animal takes away from all the otherwise nice aspects. It is almost as if he is laying flat on the picture - if that makes any sense.

Oh, you got robbed! That cute little lamb is worth at least another legendary 7! :) Especially since you got nailed as far as being so recognized by your compadres :) Only 1 person was wrong and made my day :)

Are you kidding me!!!? This is brilliantly captured. How can anyone honestly not see quality in this photo by itself as well as meeting the challenge criteria? This one jumps of the screen as being hahn23.

Nice mountain animal scene. Good details, good composition. General lack of contrasting colors -- demonstrating the animal's natural camouflage. Must be Hahn.

Richard, is this you??? If so, this does indeed look like something I would be so so proud to show off -- except I doubt if I could ever get one this flawlessly good! Wow! THAT is not only technically perfect, but it has the cute and the wow factor all mixed in with it!
