Shot in downtown Austin during freezing temperatures.

Processed with Nik Efex bleach bypass, and a number of other things.


After challenge: This image yo-yoed all over the place. It was sitting pretty at a 5.5 for a while and then took a dive.

In the end, the poor quality if the image cost me. Lesson learned to take time to pick a good image for a challenge. I was hasty and overwhelmed by the masses of photos I had to choose from.

The DoF seems a bit shallow...the subjects legs are in focus but his face isn't

I love this but I find myself wanting to see the eyes more in focus. That would have really made the photo for me.
