 Somewhere between Wiesbaden and Kaiserslautern. Took a side road for a bit and came across this lovely field with lovely light. Took a few pictures.

Edit to add that nope, the horizon isn't crooked - that's a hill on the left.

I like all the lines in this, the light from the sun is nice ... we had quite a lot of snow (for the UK) las monday, caused chaos in the local area as the road were grid locked ... took me 2 1/2 hours to get home from work ... 6 miles! That was aparently a good journey though talking to other people!

I like the openness of this pic. The lines are great in leading me out down the road (on the right) and into the field (on the left). The perspective makes me feel like I'm there having a quiet moment. Very serene.

I suppose you're right about the horizon. If I look on the right side of the image it's straight. That hill is misleading.

This has, literally speaking, great depth of field! I suppose that's where the term originated. The light definitely adds a lovely touch. It pays to take the road less traveled!

Great glow on the horizon (which is crooked?). I always like images that portray the warmth of the sun against the freezing cold snow. I spent a lot of time in the snow as a kid, so I think it somehow takes me back.

The depth on this one is nice, as is the texture in the snow, but it doesn't grab me like the foggy tree shot
