This is another shot of the Seals at Donna Nook, I'll probably post a few over the next few days :)

Taken with a 500mm f/4 I hired. I pumped the ISO to 2500 for this shot so I could shoot at f/18 @ 1/100s to get as much dof as possible.

The dof still wasn't quite enough but I was amazed at the sharpness and detail @ ISO 2500 on the 7d

Beautiful wildlife shot. The lens has done a good job. The detail and the light are both there. Great idea to hire if you don't do this all the time.

That was a good choice to go to f16, and get the DOF to bring out both animals clearly.

Beautiful detail and bokeh. You really got your money's worth out of that 500mm lens.

I'm impressed with the lack of noise at ISO 2500. I just got a 7D, too -- mostly for the higher ISO's and shooting at night. I haven't been disappointed.
