Left church after choir rehearsal and walked in the rain to Point Breeze and 22nd Streets. I got soaked. Walked backed to 20th and Washington and got a cab home.

Post: Tried some stuff. Wrote it down. Have it if necessary. Lately....well you know. Slump city.
But I'm working full time and things are not as dire. Got to get shooting more regularly back into my schedule.

Ta!

This is very well composed. I like the placement of the lighter-bricked corner right on the vertical third and then my eye goes to the people then to the one way arrow that shoots me over to the other side. Good shot of urban decay, too.

Wonderful image! There's so much to look at: the people, the sign, the stoplight, the door, the telephone booth, the building, the wires. Nice tones. Love the spot of yellow and red. Makes the image pop for me. Excellent sharpness.

The people with the umbrellas really ground the shot nicely. I love the red light as a bit of color amidst the muted neutral tones. Nice. 7

Similar to 'Time is passing by', this photo offers more than a decaying building. There is interaction with the decay.

Could be fixed up and sold as upscale condos? Good shot.

Neat shot. It wouldn't be nearly as nice without the people walking by. Nice job.

Nice shot, but a bit underexpsed and too contrasty

I like the impressionistic feel to this.....the lighting adds to a woeful tone, and it just works all 'round.......8

Great shot. Three things make this one stand out - the [antiquated] phone booth, the red traffic light, and the pedestrians with umbrellas. I can see this one being in the top 10. No vote, I'm in this one.

I like the austerity that this image radiates. The woman with the umbrella makes a nice touch. Nice processing too. 8

this is my preferred shot of this challenge (my vote is a ten), and now i'll try to tell you why...

there are many elements that i like here, ok, urban decay, but this is enforced by the red light, the one way sign and, last but not least, two people that are going in opposite direction of the sign... yes, a great shot!

Wow, that's urban decay. This place needs some stimulus money...
