 Multnomah Falls (30 minutes east of Portland, OR).
The metro area has been experiencing an arctic blast this past week and the falls were starting to freeze just a bit. However, I don't think the sub-freezing temps will last long enough for the entire falls to completely freeze over.

I envy your proximity to this falls!

There's something magical about that bridge, and the cold, icy weather really accentuates that.

I like the shapes made by the gorge & the bridge. Cool waterfall, the hint of blue makes it look really chilly

This is the perfect time to go...cold but dry. No ice on the road. I've never been up there when there is been snow or ice. Nice shot!

Got there late and shot it about 10 minutes after sunset. I had the WB on shade setting. I actually bump the temperature a bit on the slider (iPhoto) to give the rocks a bit more warmth, so maybe a combination of those technical PP factors (I'm not big on PP).
Nice call on the title :) The temp on my car thermometer was 34deg, but the winds funnel down the gorge so with wind chill it was cold. Shot it on Sunday, been in the teens at night and barely above freezing during the day. Makes me want to drive back and see how much more it may have chilled...

You could have also called this "Chilled Tourists". :-) It has to be dang cold on that bridge! Did you fudge your WB a little? That ice really looks blue. :-P

Beautiful shot of the frosty falls. I've driven by there several times since my parents moved to PDX but have never stopped. I'll have to get around to doing that, someday.
