great lighting, focus and strong colors. Perfect bokeh. A little tighter crop at the top and to the right and the picture would be perfect.

Negative space is a good tool but in this shot I would have liked the crop a little closer to fill the frame from corner to corner. (Not voting)

Had a second look. I started with a 6 but it deserves more for excellent focus and composition. I also went with a smaller bug and nicer floral composition. Not everything macro has to be in your face. See then if you can pick my entry... Bokeh is superb. Bumped to 8.

I'm amazed at how many Ladybugs there are in this challenge...I would have thought, flies, dragonflies...and more spiders...super sharp focus and excellent colors
