lift the hills just a trifle higher in the image? or perhaps shrink the image to cut out the extra space, perhaps shorter than the plane, to make this image stronger, I think. |

Superb early morning shot oozing tranquility and beauty. Lovely shades of gray in the hills combine magnificently with the yellows and oranges in the sky. 9 |

This reminds me of where I had my best vacation ever: Bristol, Tennessee. But, it's probably not. Anyway, the photo is awesome to me. A great Landscape. 10 |

very, well done...it looks almost like you tore different shades of black to gray paper to make the mountains...beautiful |

Slowly the sun arises and touches the first of the hills, then moves on to light the next, and the next. The repeating waves of hills in this make this photograph serene and beautiful. Change comes slowly but it brings the Light, and the Darkness will recede. It has always been so in the order of things. |

Great tones! I know why you included the contrail, but I think the crop is more powerful just below it, to still include the trapezoid cloud... |

I'm always a bit of a sucker for photos of this sort, where there are repeating ridges that partially shroud each other. Nice golden hues too. |
