Ok, this is one of my favorites of what I've looked at recently in this LB side challenge. Could be the simplicity of the photo I guess, but it works. Nice detail and a tightly controlled sweet spot. |

Very sweet use of the sweet spot, and good choice for contrasts as well. |

Would hardly know this was a LB shot. The sweet spot is so sharp. Excellent choice to use B&W |

I like the composition of the lone leaf (awesome sweet spot focus), and the diagonal of the railing(?). Great back ground blur. Would have been a great center composition challenge entry. |

Hello, your shot has been chosen for my Daily 5! This is where I choose 5 shots per day (or close enough) from the Recently Uploaded list that do not yet have comments, and comment on them.
It is a solitude that sometimes passes us by, all around, when our minds are usually so focused on our hopes and dreams and fears and anxieties and the world that forces so much on us. Yet, for whatever reason, sometimes we notice that solitude too, and you have captured here a part of that. The quiet and emptiness that is never truly empty, yet with a motion and dynamic that brings it to life. |
