to me the sunlight is to harsh...it distracts from this shot

LOL...really interesting! I had to look twice to see what was "centered" and realized it was on the horizon! :) Really great thinking! Love it! 10

Very well composed shot... love the lead lines

Beautiful shot! Really love the exposure and composition. I was nearly going to mark it down a bit because the people in the shot aren't actually in the centre, but I think the end of the pier is bang on in the middle, so that's good enough for me. Great work - 10

Hum, i think this is a very good shot but it's not really centered is it. Three steps to your left would have done it. I guess you could say that the subject of the composition is the hand rail that does run down the centre of the shot but then that begs the question, is the handrail really that interesting as to be the subject of the shot? I wouldn't say so really so i'm giving a relatively low mark. 4.

I would consider this meeting the challenge. I see that the horizon and the right side railing and the vanishing point is center composed, but it "feels" left side heavy with the pier and the people and the sun. The right side feels just a bit empty, if that makes sense.

You used the lines of the pier to lead the eye nicely to the center of the photo. A very pleasing early evening scene...you make me wish I was there!

I like very much this image, but I think you will get a lot of DNMC, because the subject is not the center of the picture, it's more like leading lines.

horizon and vanishing point are centered but overall compositon is almost rule of thirds. nice image nevertheless, like the muted colors
