Every time I go to the supermarket, I make this decision: paper or plastic?

Shot in my basement on a newly purchased white vinyl window shade (thus the ripples near the bottom that I couldn't edit out per the contest rules.) I used a 500 watt worklight to light the background and then took a long exposure so it would wash out and the groceries would be lit just right from reflected light. The side of the paper bag got a little more washed out than I would have liked, but my produce was starting to wilt under the hot lights!

Great comments. Thank you all. I knew there were lighting problems, but I just got home from school, so I haven't bought an adequate amount of lighting yet. Glad most of you still liked it.

Looks like good healthy choices too! Excellent idea. You've tried a high-key approach which worked fairly well - but you need to force some light into the foreground to make it truly effective as high key.

Paper bags have other uses - plastic does not. The store will foist plastic on you unless you demand paper.

Nice idea, but you need more light in the front unless you planned to have it backlit.

I like this picture. The colors are good and it is a great idea for this callenge. Lighting seems a little harsh from the side and back. Good luck.
