This is actually a reenactment of a photo that my mom took 36 years ago. We had a long haired collie, then, and she sat me down with a book and put a piece of baloney in the middle of said book. That dog was Shannon, and he was the most well behaved, smart dog!
This is Max, he's well behaved, but he's not the brightest bulb on the planet (we're talking about the dog, not my son...) It took him a long time to get the idea, and then was cooperative for only 1 or 2 shots. After that, he kept trying to lick the book. He did get lots of provolone cheese! (after all, who would put baloney in a book? yuck...)
I actually liked this shot much better: , but my husband thought the dog was more engaged in the shot I entered, and I wasn't comfortable the composition of the other one. However, I liked the lighting and the coziness of the other shot much better. Do you have an opinion? Let me know!
