Wonder just how many of these we'll see. Hope this is a good one. I could use one.

Used some masking tape and stuck the leaves to my black velvet background in stutdio. Used two clamp lamps each with a 100W energy saving bulb located above and on either side of the subjects. Shot with camera on tripod and using the cable remote release. Focused the leaves and the bottom of the frame for about 3 seconds then moved the camera down.

POST:

Camera Raw adjustments in PSElements 6.0.
Layer adjustments for levels, brightness/contrast and hue/saturation.
Adjust sharpness.
Spot edit dust.
Resize.
USM.

Leaves is free! Hurray!

Creative effort. The 'stop motion' to create the motion is well chosen.

This is a very nice idea... but the execution could be better imho. I think the composition doesn't work... and I would love to see some more detail on those leaves.
