 Not really twilight - just very diffuse cloudy day light. I set the bouquet where the light would just barely hit it. Not sure if this counts as low key or just underexposed, but I kinda like it.

Well gosh, I am really getting very bad at determining what of my own stuff truly sucks, aren't I?

Ah well. Everone needs a good sub-5 collection. :-)

Welcome the sub-five club. I can't even meet my average anymore. I love this. Gave it a six. Guess it wasn't dark enough for everyone else though (?!).

Never woulda' thought this was yours... I gave it a 7, I love the down-key, slightly decaying essence of it. Sorry it did so poorly for you :-(

Meets Challenge: 1 of 3. To me, this is just a normal picture of a rose. Mostly full illumination, no real interaction between darks and highlights.
Technical: 2 of 3. A decent shot.
Emotion: 1 of 3. Flower shots usually don't do it for me unless they are highly dramatic, and this just isn't.
Awe: 0 of 1.
