 I actually got Tank and Boone together. If I open the front door and sit on the porch, Tank will usually lie down, so Boone followed suit. This makes me smile.

Oh this is very perfect. This could be in an LL Bean catalog. Its kind of like having two kids who finally sit down for a moments rest.

lol ..this made me smile & laugh at the same time .. its such a brilliant shot judy .. were they both practicing the dead pan look .. they say dogs are more intelligent than we give them credit for .. if you've ever read any of the 'chicken soup for the soul' series i would recommend the pet lovers one .. it is the most amazing book .. true stories about animals that would make your heart sing .. i feel so blessed that us humans have the animal kingdom to look up to, admire, honour and take care of .. i think they can teach us so much if we're open to the lesson .. i know i'd be preaching to the converted . got a bit carried away there .. anyway check out the 'chicken soup for the pet lover's soul' book .. a great book to pick up for half an hour or so .. short stories mostly .. and great for all ages . from the very very young right thru to the very very old .. :)x

Aaaaauuuuugh! What a fabulous fine art portrait! What a moment! You could never have staged this -- it just has to be a one in a million opportunity to have them both sitting so close to each other like that, and both having those regal looks on their face!

Boone has lost his little boy look and looks like such a gorgeous young man now :) And Tank -- ever the dignified old soldier!
