 for the september macro side challenge

cant remember, but i probably used extension tube ...
in processing i scaled up 200% ..

hey ben bspurgeon .. usually i duplicate the background layer then increase the canvas size height a certain percentage depending on the dimensions i want ... i select the duplicated background layer and do a transform/scale on it dragging it out to the size i want .. i can then move the scaled-up layer around after i apply the transform to get it exactly where i want it .. i then crop .. that way i've still got the background layer uncropped if i want to go back and change stuff ..
the file size can get quite large doing it this way and sometimes, if i'm not intending it as a print i'll reduce the image size ..
i havent got photoshop open right now so i hope i got the terminology right ..
with this particular shot i did all of the above and then applied noise after sharpening .. didnt use any noise reduction .. !!..:)

Fantastic processing. What steps do you use to upscale? Noise reduction after upscalling?
