nope. from the inside looking out. when i was walking along the road in this gypsy neighborhood with my romanian companion this lady came by, saw my camera and immidiately asked me if i could come with her to her and her husbands home and take some photos, so they could show them to some NGO in france where they wanted to move soon. her husband had some very bad illness on his leg which she wanted me to take photos of as well.

what held their attention in that moment i don't remember. the mood was rather depressing and sad due to their very poor situation so this must have been a rare moment of joy and laughter...perhaps my romanian pal made a joke that everybody except me understood; probably on my expense as well...;-D

i suppose that's because they got their clothes from aid deliveries from the states or western europe...
see, even charity contributes to the perdition of their traditional culture! ;-)
