That is a nice close up of this heron. The local ones are skittish, and will not allow me to get within 25 yards most of the time.

Very well done. Like the patterns on the wing especially.
Regarding the "blob" in the left lower corner, it should be easy to clone out -- this way you would not have to lose that corner like you would if you crop.

One of my favorite Herons. Nice capture of his colors. I might go ahead and crop tighter on the left to get rid of the OOF dark foreground object.
