I took these without the intention of entering them in this challenge. It's a sandpiper nest. I was trying to get a picture of the sandpipers on the nest, without any success. I think the shot meets the challenge and is unique.

Looks like Killdeer eggs. I was checking a nest each day, but the eggs disappeared one night. Nicely done and good composition.

great use of DOF, but try increasing contrast just a bit more to darken the spots on those eggs and add a little depth and character to the picture.. nice job :)
