Really not sure how this will do, only as I struggled with creativety on this one. Wanted to try high contrast not sure if I pulled it off will see. probably low 4's

9-16-09 First day of voting and yes I was going for high key, high contrast. I wanted that look for this.

Greetings from the Critique Club

I liked this in voting and gave it a 7.

It was a nice idea and pretty well executed. The high key aspect worked to some extent, but was perhaps a little bit too bright and I do think that hurt the score a bit.

Composition is good and the colours on the dominos really pop off the page, so in that regard I think you did well. The focus seems ever so slightly off, but that maybe just an illusion due to the size of the image on DPC.

Overall I though this was well done but may have scored higher if it had not been quite so bright.

You beat the low 4s!! This was pretty well received, I think, and you executed the high key quite nicely!

This looks a little blown out, particularly on the sides of the dominoes (check next to the pink seven). Nice use of the tilted horizon.

I would have like to have seen more separation between the subject and the background as if it wasn't for those slight shadows on the ground, there would be none at all, but nice set up and good work.

the border of the dominoes can be barely seen because of the white background, anyway perfect quality and idea in this photo

A tad bright but I like it.

This may be the gamma setting on my monitor but the image appears to be too high key. I am losing the edges of the dominoes.

The second similar domino pic in the challenge.

I like this, just the tile on the right looks a bit to high key. still worth an 8 though :)
