Pike Place Fish in Seattle's Pike Place Market. Great place to walk around.
Shot with camera held over my head above the crowd in auto mode. Camera's widest setting (equal to 38mm). No crop, minor edit.

This is a shot of the main "entrance" to Pike Place Market. To answer glad2badad's question of a window to the right, yes, this fish market is just steps away from the open entry, just below the "Public Market Center" sign.

Pike Place Market is a big tourist attraction for Seattle. On this weekend (after Labor Day), there were still plenty of tourist (including me). So I was trying to make an effort to get the "Pike Place Fish" sign in my composition using the live view of the P&S; it was happen stance that I caught the lady in front of me snapping a pic too.

Aren't these the fishmongers who published that little motivational book? The Pike Place Market seem's to've become a lot more of a tourist trap than when I lived there. But I remember how they used to pop their paper bags & holler out your order. A fun place. This shot has it.

Reminds me of a place in New York. Like how you caught the photo taker in front of you, intentional or not. :-) The lighting is well distributed in this place...was there a large window behind and to your right?

Great shot of someone taking a picture.

I really like the way you've used HDR -- it brings out detail (and there's lots of that in this shot), but you aren't hit on the head with the effect.

PS. I got this shot when a doting mother walked across my view finder at my son's law school graduation.
