Pure bokeh. Who needs crispy when there's something this pretty to look at. Taken in my backyard. Manual defocusing and moving around until I arrived at a pleasing composition as seen through the viewfinder. Played around with color in Photoshop.

No overlays at all...I guess the fat bokeh just overlaps and creates these really transparent blend of shapes.

This one is quite striking. These would be great colors for some of those hot street rods you photograph on occasion.

This one: the diamonds/lozenges made by the crossing strappy leaves suggest a crystal structure, and the colour is just right for amethyst, a stone that tastes like grape.
