pretty bird nice pic too. t blurry branch on the front is very distracting, also it looks like a domestic bird. I can see the leather straps in his or her legs. did you took this pic in a Zoo?

meeting the challenge: 1/5, composition/technique: 4/5, for a total score of 5. I quite like this photograph; however, it doesn't give me a strong sense of waiting, and I wouldn't have had any at all without the caption.

That branch in front of the owl's feet make it appear that he's floating/hanging... which is quite weird. However, I like the idea, and once I saw the feet, I do like the shot.

It's a shame that you lost the owls feet with the object in the foreground. I find that very distracting, a might have been better to crop down further and made this in portrait format..

Overall a good shot with nice contrast, with the owls feet hidden, it looks like he's hanging by his neck though.

Hmmm. Judging by the shadows,. he may have a while to go.
