there are a few ways i do a vignette .. sometimes i'll do a fill layer in the colour i want as the vignette .. usually either black or white .. and then mask off the areas i dont want .. sometimes i'll use xero software .. the plug-ins are free and you can either get individual ones or a set .. the soft vignette is in set no.4 ..
sometimes i'll use richard rosenman - vignette corrector .. i think some of their filters are free and others you have to pay for .. :)

I like the white vignetting. I've never thought of using a white vignette and will surely try it on a fitting photograph in the future. Beautiful image. Was he sleeping?
