This is effective on so many levels, and I could probably write paragraphs analyzing it. One thing I really like is the framing. The way you isolated your subjects with respect to the grid lines in the pavement, give it a disorienting, warped-reality sort of feel. I think it would work even if we couldn't make out your subjects (feet and dog), but of course they makes it even more fun. Great. |

Huh. I thought this was B&W with the collar studs & leash clasp selectively colored back in until Melethia mentioned the pink spots in the upper left. What an interesting naturally monotone(ish) shot. |

I like the dark spots on gray. It creates a very pleasing visual effect somehow. You know that's bubblegum, dontcha? |

Oh I do like this! Excellent angle/perspective; the black bits on the sidewalk really do add to this (but you need to lose the wee pink bit in the upper right corner). Good thing the dog has a collar on - sometimes with these little fluffy ones it's hard to tell which end is which. :-) |
