Tried panning while shooting. I don't love this photo, but it's not bad. I do like all the colors.

Edited to add: Wow. You guys saw so much more in this than I did. krnodil and bvy with the triptych, and roz with your insightful (and really quite moving) comment about the fleeting nature of childhood. Thank you for helping me appreciate this photo more!

Children on playgrounds are always full of so much energy, this shot captures it well...I always love bringing my cam along when I go to the park with my little nephew.

When I used to take my kids to a place like this I found it a little unsettling. Seems so easy to fall or get hurt. Of course I lost my front teeth one kind of like this 40 years ago. This captures that for me.

Very cool blur catch, and for the record I also had that "triptych" impression.

You've definitely got a natural triptych going here - very cool! And the colors work very well - wouldn't be quite the same in B&W at all. Try this some more! You don't always get keepers, but you do get things worth taking a second look at. And sometimes you DO get real gems!

Yes, the illusive nature of transition.

I was about to make the triptych comment myself.

Chaotic yet fun. Nice job.

i think this is fantastic .. the blurry look goes so well with the kids playground subject .. fun and active .. and childhood is gone before you know it so it has a sort'v emotive feeling too (cant think of the right word just now, but when you feel the loss of something .. or regret the loss .. along those lines) .. the little boy, your son? .. makes that feeling quite definite for some reason .. could be the great effect you've achieved with your camera as well as his posture and the way he's in the playground but blurring out of it as well .. like a memory .. :)
