I actually like the comp on this. The bridge balances out the bright area of water. The water has become the subject. I think without the ripples and the bright oval-shaped reflection, the water wouldn't be as interesting in this shot. For the conditions presented to you I think this works quite well actually.
So...do you think an inline yellow spinner retrieved along that left weedline would produce any nice fish strikes? I do! |

Waddy, you nailed it. There were wires running just a few feet above this scene which caused me to crop it lower than I would have liked to. Its so "typical Florida" that I still love the view. Glad you recognized it. |

I see the little bit of wire in the top right corner, which must be the reason that you didn't get the tops of the trees over the RR bridge. It's a very typical Florida "river or creek" in the shot. This is a very pretty spot, and I would guess that it is even better when conditions are just right for shooting. I feel at home looking at this image. |
