What the heck...I'll toss this in for the fun of it. Hadn't really set out to shoot anything for this weeks open challenges. I was at my son's soccer practice and this flock of geese did a very low fly-over so I grabbed a few shots as they went on past. Kinda liked the way it looked (wish we had 720 for this to show more detail).

As far as Rule of Thirds...it's loose, but mostly there. :-) On top of borderline DNMC, I'm sure to upset the "stay in the box" voters with the two partial geese. I like it this way personally as it adds to the sense of motion and flight.

Watch out 4.0 score, here I come!!!

Hi from the Critique Club,

You asked for your shot to have an in depth comment from a member of the Critique Club.

Cool shot!!!! an added bonus to the soccor match!

Your rule of thirds is fairly loose as you stated but it is there, kinda. I think what hurts this shot is the fact that it is 150 and 640. I am seeign the jaggies in this shot, that could also be the jpeg compression. It is difficult when you have a great shot and little things like the size hurt it.

The details that you have are good, sharp good colours. you have a high ISO but I can not see grain,

this is a good solid shot

Looks like a heavy crop maybe?... so it's poor image quality, but still charming.

ETA: Looking at this again in the daylight, I think the image quality problem might be due to the basic's 150K max. It's better viewed in the daylight, but still the jaggies are distracting to me. I'm staying with my vote of a 6 because it's clearly a Thirds image and it's so charming.

How'dyagetem to pose for you like that? *grin*
